related to cars of previous generations, because new items have not yet had time
to prove itself as it should, but the trend is, I hope, is clear.
Brand Honda
is not an exception to the general rule - vehicles produced under this brand,
are colorful and stylish design, sporty tetchy and high comfort. In any case, it
seemed to me so recently tested Japanese sedan class golf Honda Civic 4D,
courtesy of the official representative of Honda in Russia, the company Honda

1. I must say, Honda Civic - the car is very good, at least its
previous model of 2006 has earned many warm accolades from owners. The
popularity of this model has been so great that the months-long queues at car
shows have become commonplace. Frankly, the updated Honda Civic 4D based
platform 4-year-old. Yes, that's right - the Japanese decided that the car has
not yet exhausted its potential and had a restyling of the popular model. In my
opinion, nothing wrong there really is, quite the contrary - why not use a
really good solution, which is the Civic? The more so for several years, which
is produced car, even the few "children" of the disease, which could be the case
for a long time are calculated and eliminated.
2. Alas, I was not able to get acquainted with the
previous version of the sedan Honda Civic, so before you start dating with the
new model, I learned a good feedback and reviews of the predecessor, published
on the Internet. Well, I have to be aware of what exactly has changed, and in
what direction ... Of course, ideally it would be good to test both versions,
but such a possibility I was not. Well, let's settle for what was
available.
3. And there I was not so little - Honda Civic 4D
Executive in the maximum configuration with a 1.8-liter 16-valve engine and
automatic transmission. By the way, the approximate cost of such a car is about
830 thousand rubles. Well, let's find out whether Honda Civic that kind of
money. A first impression with the close acquaintance car left the most positive
- swift silhouette, elegant lines and original shapes are not bored. In heavy
city traffic so the machine does not get lost, do not dissolve in a great many
look-alike clones. Well what can I say - Japanese designers eat the bread has
not even nothing!
4. The differences from the previous model is clear -
flowing lines became less, the car became sportier look, you can even say
aggressive. The front end looks very dignified - polylines headlights combined
with the new bumper Honda Civic 4D gives a kind of predatory squint. A new form
of the grille fits perfectly into the design and does not look alien element.
Slightly changed and rear optics - it designers have moved away from the
traditional round elements and turn them into octagons. More changes I noticed,
though no one walked around the car again ... Yes, they are, by and large, are
not needed - the design of Honda Civic is still fresh and not look
corny.

Let's start from the back seat. Places - in abundance, and will not be closely
and the three passengers medium complexion. I liked the fact that the rear

comfortably located on the cozy "sofa". Subjective - creating the illusion of
being in the car of a higher class. Why? It's very simple - on so many cars Golf
class I sat in the back seat, I rest my knees in the back of the front seats. It

futuristic. Basically, it is a merit tier instrument panel. A bit unusual, but
the lack of originality Honda engineers do not exactly condemn. In the bottom

blue instrument lighting, screens, standard audio system and climate control
quite tiring to the eyes, and the readability of the information and its

7. Landing at the wheel raises no objections -
sitting in a tough measure, and the adjustment system allows you to take the
most comfortable position. The steering wheel moves in two directions, so that
even the pickiest driver can choose an ideal location. Set of pockets and
compartments for personal belongings enough to fit all the essentials that
compensates for a small amount of a small box, traditionally referred to as the
"glove compartment". What else to look for? I remember the sound, and it was
remembered their "standard" - a typical head unit, a standard set of speakers
... Such a bright car like Honda Civic, I think that deserves a far better audio
system, although the existing complaints there. Control of the media player

8. But the amount of luggage - 389 liters - seemed to
me insufficient. For a fairly large sedan - it's not the value, the more that
the same parameter is much higher than those of competitors. However, here, it
seems to me, the amount sacrificed comfort in the cabin, especially in the back
seat. However, if there is a need for free "bag-in-place", you can always fold
the rear seat backs.
9. Let us turn to the most interesting moment of the
test - test ride and features of the power unit. Let me remind you that all
Honda Civic set the same 1.8-liter 16-klapannik. This motor carries a lot of
potential, and is comparable in performance with some 2-liter counterparts. I
liked the high-torque at any speed, the engine spins up instantly, in general,
the horsepower Honda Civic in a very, very frisky. To check the engine in a
"combat" conditions, I went to Moscow at night. Yes, this pair of "engine with
automatic transmission" I must confess I did not expect - the dynamics Honda
Civic cause involuntary respect. Start and accelerate to maximum speed in a
matter of seconds - all this has led me to the state of ecstatic ... Moving at
any speed by pressing the pedal feel solid acceleration, knowing that it is
always possible to "squeeze" a little bit more ... Work 5-step robotic machine
too pleased. Even the gear changes on their own, with paddles "petals", I was
not able to surpass the automatic mode, the speed dial speed. This is the case

10. Sports events at Civic 4D does not take away.
